An extensive overhaul from an outdated small stucco building to a beautiful, modern adaptive reuse of an underutilized corner. 

In collaboration with EYRC Architects, the new storefront facade was added with structural steel, keeping the majority of the existing structure, using new materials where they had the most impact. A mezzanine level was added inside the structure to accommodate the desire for creative office tenants, and creating small platform meeting areas for the tenants.

Using a combination of warm materials such as Hemlock wood and IPE wood decking with the painted steel louvers and framing creates a modern look in a neighborhood that is full of standard stucco buildings. Additional focus was giving to providing pedestrian circulation and access to the nearby lightrail.
