Escondido Country Club was formerly a defunct golf course, re-envisioned by NUWI into a vibrant master-planned community, with a 29-acre greenbelt system with 4 miles of trails. Additionally, 44% of the land was preserved as open space.

 

NUWI took over the site in 2016, after the landowner had battled with the City and Escondido Country Club HOA on a previous proposal. NUWI committed to addressing the HOA’s concerns and providing significant community benefits, which resulted in the approval of the project by City Council.

 

The project began construction in 2020 and sold out by 2022.
